Selecting Hints
Plan METRAVON industrial weighing for tanks, hoppers and scales. Match load cells, modules, indicators and wiring, then submit load and interface details for a quote.
Specify the weighing chain from the support to the controller
A vessel scale and a suspended load may share an electrical signal but need different mechanical arrangements. Describe the equipment and force path first. Then assign the measurement, mounting and control functions to the appropriate components.
- MV-LC load cells convert the applied force into a measurement signal. Select the structure, capacity and loading direction against the actual mounting drawing.
- MV-WM weigh modules provide a defined installation arrangement for vessel supports. Review restraint, thermal movement, pipe forces and maintenance access with the selected assembly.
- Weighing indicators and transmitters supply the required bridge excitation, calibration and display or control output. Match the chosen unit to the sensor network and the PLC input.
- Junction boxes, signal cables and peripherals complete the connections. Their wiring and interface requirements belong on the same system drawing.
Turn the equipment drawing into an inquiry
Send the empty and maximum loaded weights, support layout, expected load distribution, operating movement and required output. For an existing installation, include the sensor and indicator nameplates and terminal diagrams. Agree how a known load will be applied and checked at the final display or PLC; a component's catalogue specification alone cannot establish the error of the installed weighing system.
Send the equipment drawing, empty and maximum loaded weights, support layout and required display or PLC output for a component recommendation and quotation.
