Choose the probe before choosing its length
A guided wave probe occupies the vessel. The correct starting question is whether the rod, cable or coaxial tube can stay clear of inlets, agitators and internal metalwork throughout operation.

Send the vessel drawing, medium composition, operating and cleaning temperatures, pressure, probe length, internals and required output. An order should identify the complete probe and seal assembly. At acceptance, check the installed reference, output scaling and response at known levels, including any interface duty actually specified.
