Two 120 GHz instruments for different surfaces
These two models do not form a single interchangeable range. Specify what the beam must see before comparing the published maximum distances.
Bulk-solid silo: MV-RD21-120G
MV-RD21-120G measures a powder, granule or lump-solid surface from above. The order review needs the silo section, feed position, expected pile shape, dust, antenna opening and distance from the installed reference to both operating limits. A narrow beam cannot correct a mounting point aimed at an unrepresentative part of the pile.
Water-level site: MV-RD12T-120G
MV-RD12T-120G is the liquid-oriented option. Record the mounting elevation, nearest flood surface and farthest low-water surface; choose the documented range and output configuration for that interval. A radar distance becomes a site water level only after the reference elevation and scaling are recorded.
For either model, state the required PLC, RTU or logger input, power arrangement and installation drawing on the quotation. Verify the delivered version against the ordered output and compare its reading with an independently known level during commissioning.
