METRAVON MV-WA0008 is a compact plastic load cell junction box measuring 125 x 80 x 40 mm. It uses excitation adjustment. The compact housing may suit a restricted installation space, but it must still provide the required terminal arrangement and cable access for the proposed weighing circuit.
Confirm the connections before choosing the compact box
List every sensor cable and the connection to the weighing indicator. Then compare that list with the box's terminal diagram and cable entries. Do not combine conductors in a terminal or share an entry simply to make a larger installation fit a smaller enclosure.
The three cable entries shown for this model describe the enclosure, not the number of conductors in a load-cell cable. They do not establish whether a particular four-wire or six-wire connection is supported. That decision requires the circuit drawing.

Small enclosure, separate installation checks
Leave enough space to remove the cover and reach the terminals. Check the mounting pattern, cable bends and strain relief before fixing the box to the machine. Overall dimensions are not a drilling template, and a cable forced into a tight bend can make later service difficult even when the enclosure itself fits.
When the proposed connection layout cannot fit, review a different enclosure such as MV-WA0007, which measures 172 x 103 x 40 mm. Its larger size is a reason to compare the layout, not proof of any particular terminal capacity or automatic compatibility.
Two questions to resolve before purchase
Q1. Can additional load cells be connected in parallel to avoid changing the box?
Do not assume that modification is acceptable. It changes the electrical load seen by the indicator and may bypass the intended per-channel adjustment and terminal arrangement. Have the complete circuit checked, including sensor resistance and excitation capacity, before adding connections.
Q2. Does a smaller junction box need fewer commissioning checks?
No. Confirm the wiring, secure the cables and check the scale response under the required loading conditions. Any excitation adjustment should be followed by the indicator's zero and span checks. The number of entries does not reduce the need to verify the finished weighing system.
Supply the connection plan with the enquiry
An MV-WA0008 enquiry should include the sensor count and models, instrument model, wiring arrangement, cable diameters and available mounting space. State the required environmental protection explicitly; no IP rating or outdoor suitability is established by this product's size or plastic housing.
The junction-box selection guide provides the electrical and commissioning checks to complete before confirming the order.
