Moisture on an antenna, process coating and housing water ingress need distinct repairs. Inspect MV-RD12G nozzle drainage, heat path and echo changes before intervention.

A radar can fit an existing flange yet read a fixed nozzle echo. Compare MV-RD12 and MV-RD13 antenna positions, clear bore and vessel internals on an as-built section.

A matching thread or flange does not prove a radar installation. Specify MV-RD11S or MV-RD12 joint details, antenna position and support on an assembled vessel drawing.

A radar antenna sets measurement geometry and the process barrier. Compare MV-RD12 and MV-RD903 assemblies on the nozzle drawing before approving materials and access.

When the PLC value jumps but the radar display stays steady, locate the changing value. Compare MV-RD12 distance, loop current, raw input and scaled tag during the event.

A Modbus reply does not prove that a PLC has the correct level. Specify MV-RD12 serial electronics, decode the registers and test stale-data handling before handover.

A powered radar display does not prove that the 4-20 mA loop has enough voltage margin. Check MV-RD12 supply, input burden and HART path against the wiring drawing.

An incorrect datum can make a plausible radar percentage wrong. Set MV-RD13 empty distance, usable limits and output span from a reference drawing and verify PLC scaling.

Check the low-level endpoint of a METRAVON MV-RD12 installation. Separate residual liquid, pump limits and invalid readings before approving a drain-down measurement.
