METRAVON MV-LC0154 is a low-profile beam load cell with an M12 loading attachment and two fixed-end bores. It lists 500 kg, 1, 2, 2.5 and 3 t capacities. A 1 t enquiry needs particular care: the reference table includes both a 500 kg-1 t (SE) form and a 1-3 t form, with different heights and fastening details despite a shared 130 mm length.
Choose the low-profile beam load cell by height as well as capacity
The 500 kg-1 t (SE) form has height H = 19 mm and width B = 31.5 mm. The 1-3 t form has H and B both equal to 31.8 mm. Either row can therefore describe a 1 t order unless the body form is stated. Confirm the selected row, load-attachment level and available clearance before retaining the existing platform support. A change in sensor height needs a review of the complete assembled level, not just a new span calibration.
Verify the bore and counterbore before choosing fasteners
Both forms use a 25.4 mm fixing pitch and 76.2 mm L2 reference span. However, the fixed-end bore/counterbore dimensions D2/D1 change from 11/17 mm in the SE form to 13/20 mm in the 1-3 t form. Obtain the full fastening drawing and installation requirements before selecting bolts or spacers. The M12 load designation does not specify thread pitch, allowable attachment offset or rated tension service. Provide those attachment requirements with the load direction.
| Item | Value | Selection notes |
|---|---|---|
| Rated choices | 500 kg; 1, 2, 2.5, 3 t | Identify the body form explicitly for a 1 t order. |
| SE form H / B | 19 / 31.5 mm | The row covers 500 kg through 1 t. |
| 1-3 t form H / B | 31.8 / 31.8 mm | Different height can change the assembled support level. |
| SE bore / counterbore | 11 / 17 mm | Compare the complete fastening detail before retaining bolts. |
| 1-3 t bore / counterbore | 13 / 20 mm | These openings differ despite the shared fixing pitch. |
| Excitation / temperature | 4-12 V DC / -30 to +70 deg C | Maximum excitation is 15 V DC; confirm conditions at the sensor. |
Check the measuring channel after setting the support level
The listed four-core cable is 3 m long with a 5 mm diameter. Rated sensitivity is 2.0 +/-0.002 mV/V; the input and output resistance entries are 385 +/-10 and 351 +/-2 ohms. Seat and secure the final support parts, finish the cable route and establish zero before reference loading. Test the positions and unload return needed by the scale. If the low-profile assembly binds against a neighbouring part, correct the interference before accepting an indicator adjustment.

Two 1 t forms and support-level changes
Q1. Can the 19 mm form be replaced by any 1 t version?
No; the other documented 1 t form is 31.8 mm high and has different fixed-end bores. Match the original body form or obtain approval for the revised support and loading level. The rating and 130 mm length are not enough to establish a replacement.
Q2. Will spacers automatically make the two forms equivalent?
A spacer changes the support stack, fastening engagement and potentially its stiffness. Review the modified assembly and load path rather than treating height compensation as a complete compatibility check. Verify installed zero and reference loads only after the revised arrangement is mechanically approved.
Q3. Does the 3 m cable include a PLC-compatible output?
Cable length describes the supplied lead, not signal conditioning. This is a raw mV/V bridge. Specify a suitable amplifier or weighing input and its required control-system output separately, then verify the final engineering-unit reading.
