Product Details

METRAVON MV-WM0023 is a compact bellows weigh module for vessel supports. The reference outline shows a 165 mm long base, 102 mm width and 87 mm overall height. A separate capacity list is not assigned to that outline, so the required rating must be confirmed with the complete assembly. Use the dimensions to assess available space, then obtain the rated sensor and mounting specification before approving a vessel support.

Read the compact bellows module outline without inferring its capacity

An 87 mm high envelope can be useful where equipment elevation is constrained, but height is not a load rating. The bellows sensor, loading contact, support bracket and mounting plates must all belong to the confirmed assembly. Do not insert the capacity of a bare bellows sensor or another compact module into this drawing. State the maximum reaction and useful measurement interval in the enquiry so that the offered rating and measuring performance can be checked together.

Compare the 102 mm top plate with the longer base

The upper plate is shown as 102 mm square, while the base extends to 165 mm along the sensor. The plan view includes 82 mm fixing references and an eight-hole 10 mm diameter notation across the illustrated interfaces. The upper and lower plate thickness references are 9 mm and 13 mm. A square vessel bracket therefore does not establish a square foundation footprint. Check the exact holes, edge distances, supporting contact and cable-end access on the released assembly drawing before drilling either surface.

Protect the bellows without creating another load path

The bellows is visible beneath the top plate beside the supporting bracket. Leave the sensing assembly clear of surrounding guards, packed material and cleaning attachments. A cover attached to both the vessel and foundation can transfer force around the intended measurement path if it is not designed for the movement. Describe any required protection arrangement and have its clearances reviewed. Do not infer washdown suitability or a cleaning-pressure limit from the presence of a metallic bellows.

Make room for the assembled module to be inspected

A low overall height does not establish that every fastener or the sensor can be reached in the final installation. Check the vessel leg overhang, lower bolts, cable bend and space needed to support the vessel independently for maintenance. The assembly views show mounting and restraint components but provide no quantified lateral capacity or adjustment torque. Obtain the installation procedure for the selected version and record the intended unloaded and operating contact conditions.

Accept the signal and mechanical arrangement as one system

Require the actual sensor calibration, excitation, resistance and lead functions, then match the weighing input and any external conversion equipment. The outline alone establishes none of those electrical values. Verify the installed vessel with agreed independent loads or another documented reference method, recording repeat readings and the return after unloading. Keep the rated drawing with that record. A physically compact module is not automatically a direct replacement for another 87 mm high support or a guarantee of a particular weighing resolution.

Unlisted ratings, bellows movement and cleaning

Q1. Can the capacity be calculated from the 165 mm base length?

No. The footprint does not establish the sensing element rating or the strength of every part in the assembly. Request the complete rated configuration and confirm its response over the intended measurement interval.

Q2. Does the bellows mean the vessel may move freely in any direction?

No permissible travel or lateral loading is defined by that construction feature. Review the actual contact, restraints and connected services with the approved installation instructions.

Q3. Is the compact module suitable for high-pressure cleaning?

That requires documented material, sealing, cable-entry and cleaning limits for the offered version. An exposed metal bellows or a small footprint is not evidence of that suitability.
