Product Details

selection summary

TG501 is suitable for projects requiring water level, flow, pressure and water quality monitoring, heating, gas and energy stations, agriculture and decentralized environmental monitoring. Its core configuration is 4G/3G/2G or LTE Cat M1/NB-IOT by module, with three main operator versions to be confirmed; 2xRS232 (routing), 1xRS485; 3xAI, 2xDI; and relay/pulse/extension channels available. Check interfaces, protocols and domestic cellular versions before deciding whether to use them.

Product overview

Mini-RTUs suitable for small simulations, switches and serial meters. It concentrates time collection, local storage, breakpoint relays, alarms and cellular reports in small metal casings and is suitable for decentralized monitoring points.

The procurement staff will look at these three points first.

Whether to match the sceneClear list of equipment points, number of interfaces and version of the protocol to avoid selection based solely on product name.
Full scope of procurementAntennas, power, SIM/APN, mine protection, cabinets, platform access, solidware and authorization are also identified outside the mainframe.
Basis of acceptanceThe contract contained order codes, hardware interfaces, cellular modules, protocol versions, test points and random documents.

Data links and working methods

On-site instrumentation, PLC or sensor, through Ethernet, serial or I/O access, equipment completes transmission, protocol conversion, cache or edge processing, and is sent to SCADA, integrator software, MQTT platform or operating system via 4G/5G or cable network. Stability depends on the design of a table of points, a round of interviews, network coverage, a bridging strategy and a platform interface.

Core advantages

  • Simulation, DI, serial and optional relay centralized access
  • 16MB Local Storage and Breakpoint Backup to Reduce the Risk of Disconnected Network Losses
  • Support for Modbus, MQTT and the Water Protection Industry Statute

Usage scenarios

  • Water level, flow, pressure and water quality monitoring
  • Heat, gas and energy sites
  • Agriculture and decentralized environmental monitoring

application benefits

Construction valueReduced fragmentation converters and duplicate wiring and centralized management of on-site equipment access, network transmission and remote maintenance.
Run ValueReduction of data gaps caused by temporary break-nets through chain testing, local caches and break-points.
Operation and maintenance valueRemote view of status, configuration and upgrade to reduce the number of on-site screenings at remote sites; key changes still require the retention of version records.

Selection guide

  1. Lists the number of AI, D, pulses, relays and serials on a point-by-point basis, distinguishing between the alignment and custom channels.
  2. Confirms whether the simulation is 4-20mA or 0-5V and checks the sensor ' s power supply and quarantine requirements.
  3. Determination of reporting protocols, number of centres, collection cycle, back-up time and platform fields.
  4. The NB-IOT/LTE-M version checks the operator network and the module bands; domestic projects should not reproduce the overseas bands.
specification range:The IP30 shell should be placed in a control box and should not be naked outside. If 8-way simulations, LCD keyboards, additional relays or rainfall interfaces are required, choose TG511.

Key points for installation and commissioning

  1. Power supply, grounding, mine-protected and antenna position checks are completed and access to on-site equipment is completed; communication lines are separated from power lines.
  2. The validation station number, Porter rate, validation place, repository and data unit by point, with local access to the platform.
  3. Set collection cycles, reporting cycles, caches and catch caps, and simulate off-grid, off-power and off-site scenarios.
  4. Maintenance of configuration, solid version, SIM/APN, protocol mapping and acceptance records after shipment to facilitate subsequent replacement and traceability.

Procurement and Technical Confirmation Checklist

  • On-site equipment brand type, quantity, interface, protocol, depository table and data unit.
  • 4G/5G operator, frequency band, SIM/APN, fixed IP/VPN, monthly traffic and signal test results.
  • Electricity supply range, maximum power consumption, container protection, mine protection, humidity and installation space.
  • Platform address, reporting format, collection/reporting cycle, breakpoint relay, remote upgrade and account number privileges.
  • Standards and selection functions, solid version, authorized costs, annexes, quality assurance and acceptance methods.

FAQ

What would TG501 solve?

TG501 is used mainly for micro-RTUs suitable for small simulations, switches and serial meters. The selection shall first confirm the on-site equipment, interfaces, protocols, network and power supply, rather than be based only on 4G or 5G names.

Can TG501 access PLC, instrument or sensor?

Yes, but with actual interfaces and protocols. The reference interface is 2xRS232 (1 road debug), 1xRS485; 3xAI, 2xDI; relay/pulse/extension channels are optional; if private PLC agreements or exclusive statutes are involved, a list of equipment and a contact list should be provided.

What communication protocols do TG501 support?

Reference agreements include Modbus RTU/TCP, MQTT, HJ212, hydrological/water regulation and self-defined agreements. Some industry agreements, platform plugins or secondary development functions may require the designation of solids, with the version, authorization and delivery to be confirmed prior to ordering.

Can the 4G/5G version of TG501 be used directly by the three main domestic operators?

Requires confirmation by specific module and order code. Product lines may include different national/regional bands; domestic projects should check mobile, connectivity, telecommunications frequency bands, SIM/APN, on-site coverage and local access requirements, and should not substitute “global frequency bands” for an optional identification.

Can TG501 be installed directly outdoors?

The reference environmental condition is IP30, -35 + 75°C, 95% of which is not condensed. The IP30 product should be installed in containers with water, dust, mine and temperature-control conditions and cannot be used as outdoor water protection equipment.

What information is needed for the request for TG501?

Please provide a list of the points of equipment, the number of interfaces, protocols and repositories, the collection and reporting cycle, the central platform, the cellular operator, the power supply, the installation of the environment, the requirements for remote maintenance and the selection functions required.

Ordering instructions

This page does not write optional features into standard configurations. In cases involving cellular bands, industry regulations, State secrets, secondary development, certification or platform authorization, a written confirmation of the corresponding version must be obtained prior to the next list.
